Oceania Hockey Festival in Fiji

Oceania Hockey Federation will host the Oceania Hockey Festival in Suva, Fiji, in November this year.

The festival is being conducted with support from the Fiji Association of Sports and National Olympic Committee and the key component will be the men's Oceania Cup between Australia, New Zealand and Fiji at the National Hockey Centre in Suva.

The tournament will act as the qualifier for the men's BDO hockey World Cup in Monchengladbach, Germany, in September 2006.

In addition to the men's tournament, Fiji, Papua New Guinea and Tonga will play a three-nation women's event

The women's Oceania Cup will be contested between Australia and New Zealand in late October and early November in Auckland and New Zealand.

Tuesday 15 November: Australia v New Zealand, 16:00
Wednesday 16 November: New Zealand v Fiji, 16:00
Thursday 17 November: Australia v Fiji, 16:00
Saturday 19 November: Final (1 v 2), 15:00

Three Nation Tournament ÔÇô Women
Tuesday 15 November: Fiji v PNG, 13:30
Wednesday 16 November: Tonga v PNG, 13:30
Thursday 17 November: Fiji v Tonga, 13:30
Saturday 19 November: Final (1 v 2), 12:15

Oceania Cup ÔÇô Women
Sunday 30 October: New Zealand v Australia, 13:15
Thursday 3 November: Australia v New Zealand, 19:00
Saturday 5 November: Australia v New Zealand, 14:00
* This event will act as the qualifier for the women's Samsung Hockey World Cup
