Fan Central is our free fan area for spectators to come and sample the atmosphere at the Vitality Hockey Women’s World Cup.

Located on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, the site is completely free to enter and showcases the best of our sport on an area the size of three hockey pitches!

Even if you don’t have a ticket for a match, you can:
- Watch games live on the Toshiba TV’s Big Screen and Stage
- Meet players from competing nations with our exclusive selfie and autograph sessions
- Pick up a stick in our Hockey Zone
- Sample the very best food & drink thank to KERB’s exclusive offerings
- Experience hockey like never before with our special VR experience
- See the latest retail ranges from adidas and many more, including the brand new England kit
- Have your photo taken with the World Cup trophy in the Hockey Museum, schedule permitting
- All for free!

Food and drink

Kerb will be supplying the best street food London has to offer, make sure you’re hungry! There will also be a range of soft and alcoholic drinks to wash it down with at our Fuller’s bar. Kerb will offer cuisine from China, India, Italy, Greece, Mexico and more. Whether it is a visit to Fundi Pizza, a curry from the Indian Street Kitchen or a burrito from Killadilla you won’t be going hungry! All diets will be catered for including gluten free, peanut free, vegan, vegetarian and halal. Merchant Gourmet will also be selling a range of their foods including salads, lentil burgers and prawn and chorizo paella on selected days across the tournament.

Bringing your own
You are allowed to bring small quantities of food and drink for personal consumption with you, but not alcohol.

Hockey Zone
Pick up a stick and give hockey a go in many different forms. Play small sided games on our mini-pitches and find out what Snookey is all about! Think you know the rules of hockey? Test your knowledge when ‘You’re the Umpire’ at our interactive quiz.

VR hockey in the Hockey Museum
Experience the future and learn about the past in our Hockey Museum. Get up and close and personal with the England stars in training with a stunning virtual reality experience! The Hockey Museum also takes you through the sport’s rich history including our links to the 100-year anniversary of the Suffrage movement.

Toshiba TV’s Big Screen and Stage
With a big screen and stage, fans will be able to watch all the live action as well as seeing live music and entertainment as well and meeting your hockey heroes! Whether you have match tickets or not, watch the action live on the big screen and be a part of a home World Cup in London! Toshiba will also be hosting a premium viewing area, so make sure you get down early to experience that.

Retail
There will be opportunity aplenty for some retail therapy at Fan Central, where we are hosting some of the world’s top hockey brands! The likes of Adidas, Grays, Gryphon, TK, Ritual and more will be displaying their top of the range hockey and sports equipment including sticks, kit and shoes to get you kitted out for the new season. As well as this there will be replica shirts, merchandise and more at the England Hockey Store so grab your gear and get behind the host country!. The World Cup trophy will also be on display here at various times, so make sure you bring your camera.

Info Station
Got a burning question about the event? Want to know more about Hockey in your local area? Visit the Info Station where your questions can be answered. We’ll also have a ticket sales and resolution point located here. This is also the collection point for wristbands for the team autograph sessions, so make sure you pay a visit early to guarantee your place.

Cash
Unfortunately, there are no cash machines on site. Most of our retailers and caterers will accept card payments, but make sure you pay a visit to a cash machine before arriving so you can grab a souvenir programme. The nearest machines are located at Westfield shopping centre, at the start of the Vitality Mile.

Buggy storage
Coming with young children? Then no worries, you can safely store your buggy at the Info Station.

Accessibility
Fan Central is the destination for our Accessible Spectator Shuttle. If you can’t make the short walk on the Vitality Mile, we recommend you hop on this Shuttle at Stratford or Stratford International stops.

Security search
Your safety is of paramount importance to us. We will have a squad of friendly security on site, so please do co-operation if they ask to search your bag. They’re there to help you along with the Hockey Makers so please do ask if you have any queries.

Weather watch
Fan Central is an open-air venue, with only limited shelter. Please check the weather before leaving home and do dress appropriately. We do have free sun cream available in Info Station and free water fill up points across the site for the sunny and hot English summer time. Small umbrellas are allowed on site, so please pack these if it is forecast to rain or bring a waterproof.
