Kalinga Stadium

Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar, India will be the venue for the Odisha Hockey Men’s World Cup in 2018.

The multi-purpose stadium, built in 2010, has facilities for athletics, football, basketball, tennis, table-tennis and swimming, ensuring that it is well equipped to host international sporting events.  

It is India’s first newly built Olympic standard pink & blue hockey turf. The capacity for this prestigious event is going to be increased to 15,000 seats.

In addition,  Kalinga Stadium serves as the home ground for Hockey India League franchise, Kalinga Lancers and I-League 2nd Division franchise, Samaleswari Sporting Club

Located less than 5km from downtown Bhubaneswar, its central location makes it a highly desirable venue for hockey fans globally.
