Emily Maguire (GBR) played her 100th international match
Natascha Keller (GER) played in her record tying fifth Olympic Games

Day 2:
Andrew Cronje (RSA) played in his 100th international match
Valentin Verga (NED) played in his 50th international match
Ignace Tirkey (IND) played in his 250th international match
Teun de Nooijer (NED) played in his record tying fifth Olympic Games
Pol Amat (ESP) played in his record tying fifth Olympic Games

Day 3:
Pietie Coetzee (RSA) played in her 250th international match
Chieko Soma (JPN) umpired her 100th international match to earn the Golden Whistle

Day 4:
Barry Middleton (GBR) played in his 100th international match
Ged Curran(GBR) umpired his 100th international match to earn the Golden Whistle

Day 5:
Park Seon Mi (KOR) celebrated her 30th birthday
Megan Rivers (AUS) played in her 200th international match

Hong Lae Kim (KOR) umpired his 100th international match to earn the Golden Whistle

Austin Smith (RSA) played in his 100th international match
Ton Boon (BEL) played in his 100th international match

Maartje Paumen (NED) played in her 150th international match

Day 12:
Bradley Shaw (NZL) played in his 150th international match
Sohail Abbas (PAK) played in his 350th international match
Chris Ciriello (AUS) played in his 100th international match
Netherlands and Great Britain combine to score the largest number of goals (11) in an Olympic Semi Final

Day 13:
Laura Bartlett (GBR) played in her 50th international match
Luciana Aymar (ARG) celebrated her 35th birthday and won her 4th successive Olympic Medal
Kelly Jonker (NED) played in her 50th international match

Day 14:
Markus Weise coaches to his 3rd successive gold medal performance (GER women 2004, GER men 2008, 2012)
Teun de Nooijer (NED) announces his retirement from Olympic hockey by saying he will be a spectator in Rio (2016)
